THE CREATIVE SIDE OF THE GARDEN
Plants aren't the
only things
growing here.
Original artwork, local makers and a space to try something with your own hands.

WHERE IT STARTED
A painting
for a plant.
Darren wanted a painting for Janelle for Christmas. Artist Sarah Essig traded one for a plant. A conversation became an invitation to show her work in the new shop, and other local creatives joined in.
Today, original artwork and handmade pieces share the space with the plants. Look around. You might leave with something for the wall as well as the windowsill.
MAKE A LITTLE ROOM TO CREATE
The shelves move.
The ideas do, too.
The central plant shelves are on wheels, so the room can open up for gatherings. Paint-pouring and macrame workshops have brought people together here.
